ToolbarPlus Eclipse edition's for Lotus Notes features:
1. Allows you to create in programmatic way various Lotus Notes toolbars with buttons and assign text tooltips, formulas, images to them in easy way.
2. Utilizes new Lotus Notes 8.5.1 Java UI API
3. Core of the product is implemented via signed Lotus Notes Java plug-in.
4. Special layer is done to make Lotus Java agents to invoke that plugin's methods. Thus it's easy to place your invocation code on Lotus Notes pages/forms.
5. All toolbars manipulations are persistent and saved inside user's bookmark.nsf file so far for ease of management. Underlying format of corresponding resource is XML.
6. All images to be assigned to newly created toolbar buttons are to be found inside user's bookmark.nsf as well. This could be extended if needed.
7. Deployment of whole solution for almost silent client-side installation involves creation of additional widget catalog entry (provided by us) in your Domino infrastructure as well as additional entry (provided by us) in your update site application. Self-signed certificate used for plugin signing is also provided to be cross-certified before deployment.
